Industrial Parks to be developed by the Yamuna Expressway Authority near Noida International Airport
The Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has announced plans to establish five new industrial parks in close proximity to the upcoming Noida International Airport in Jewar and will acquire 600 acres of land for the purpose, officials aware of the matter said.
As a result of the development of these industrial parks along the Yamuna Expressway, Greater Noida will be linked with other major cities of Uttar Pradesh such as Mathura and Agra. The YEIDA intends to turn Noida International Airport into a major industrial hub where big companies and manufacturing units can establish themselves.
The five industrial parks aim to cater to a variety of sectors, fostering a diverse and thriving industrial ecosystem. As per reports, the parks will include:
- Electric Vehicle (EV) Park: With India’s push for electric mobility, this park should attract companies involved in the manufacture of electric vehicles and their components.
- Plastic Processing Park: A potential market for this park is businesses involved in the processing and recycling of plastics.
- Footwear Park: This park is expected to provide a dedicated space for companies in the footwear manufacturing industry.
- Handicrafts Park: This park is envisioned to support and promote the production and sale of traditional handicrafts.
- Transport Hub: This hub will likely offer essential logistics and transportation services to support the other industrial parks in the vicinity.
